I love Sundays. Almost every Sunday I get to have an easy start of the day. I spend some time on Instagram, pinning on Pinterest or just sleep for a bit. Although most of the time I’m fully akwake because the kids crawl our bed after waking up.
Walking the walk
We often take a morning walk on Sunday. Sometimes we visit the zoo or the play-farm. I love to spend time in the forest especially in autumn. However we do live in such a pretty neighbourhood that taking a walk around the block is perfectly fine as well. Ryan really wanted to have his new rain boots being photographed so we went outside.
On Sundays we do nothing
But not with my very active toddler. So we went outdoors one more time on the afternoon. He wanted to visit the Pink Wall in Rotterdam once more. Another change to get my boy in front of my camera. Of course I couldn’t say no. We parked the car near the city centre and took the tram towards Hofplein. A short walk took us to the ‘luchtsingel’. A walk above a small part of the northern part of the city. On the other side some Insta fashionistas and fashion bloggers we’re taking loads of pics switching clothes between takes. Ryan just took his own spotlight and had fun with his umbrella which we took with us. How fashionable this pink and red contrast.
After taking a look at the trains passing by we went to get some hot drinks and some snacks. Well mommy did… Luckily this cute little bakery had a perfect spot for us near the window. We were in a pink kind of mood because again the interior was pink. We love visiting Ten to Three Bakery. This time they had a ‘speculaas’ flavoured cupcake which fits the season so well.
Ryan is wearing his new long sleeve by MarMar, we bought this with at the Black Friday sales at BonBon on the Block. The quality is great, the fabric feels so soft. I love the look that it gives my boy. He looks so big in this. His new yellow rain boots are from Bergstein. He didn’t want to have anything else as we already had these ones before. We got them at Pomme de Jus. We’re so lucky to have these great kids fashion shops in our home town.
